It is necessary to know the structure and asset allocation in the scheme to understand NPS better.

The first question that arises is what do we mean by inflation?

Inflation is simply the increase in the price level of goods and services, for instance, food or clothing. In simple words, when we say inflation is 5% per annum, it means the prices of goods and services have increased by 5% over the previous year.

NPS is considered to be the most reliable amongst other retirement planning schemes like PPF, EPF, etc., as it renders higher returns due to the presence of equity aspect. It is also helpful for individuals who are looking to save extra tax.

The foundation of a good retirement is planning. An individual who doesn’t plan for retirement efficiently might end up working even at the age of retirement. To address this concern and make dream retirement achievable, the Government of India came up with a beneficial retirement planning product called National Pension Scheme (NPS).  

What is a Will? 

A will is a document that ensures that after your death; your assets get passed over to the people that you wish to. A will helps in setting off the assets after the individual’s death without any legal hassle. 

The minimum age for making a will is 21 years.
